Al Jimenez’s advertising career includes holding senior level creative positions at agencies such as BBD&O, LCF&L and The Bravo Group/Y&R, as well as in-house marketing positions at regional law firms and financial service companies in the Phoenix area.

From his experience working on both sides of the business he realized that traditional agencies tend to steer their clients to areas of their expertise with little regard to the true needs of the client. He launched ProActivo Creative Communications in 2007 to rectify this issue which he later expanded and rebranded as ProActivo Creative Collective. He developed relationships and vetted professionals of varied skill sets to better service his clients. This allows him to shift creative and technical teams according to the client’s needs. The collective supplies a sense of stability like an agency without their overhead.
